Full Head Packed In takes foil highlighting to its brightest. We apply 25% more foils than a standard full head, placing them tightly across every section — top, sides, back, and underneath — to deliver a noticeably blonder, high-impact finish. It is the service to choose when you want maximum lightness, clear blonde throughout, and results that read as bright and dimensional even when your hair is tied up.

What the service involves
Your stylist will:
- Section your hair into quadrants for methodical, even coverage
- Weave or slice fine strands from each section using a tail comb, then apply lightener and wrap each in foil
- Place foils closer together than a standard full head, reducing the natural hair left between, for a denser, brighter blonde
- Process for 10 to 45 minutes depending on your natural colour, hair condition, and desired lift
- Rinse, tone to your chosen shade (cool, beige, golden), and finish with a blow-dry
The entire appointment runs 135 to 150 minutes. Because we use significantly more foils and product, this service sits at the upper end of highlight pricing — £126 to £161 depending on hair length and density.
Who it suits and how it compares
Full Head Packed In is ideal if you:
- Want a much blonder feel overall, rather than soft, scattered dimension
- Are transitioning from darker hair toward an all-over blonde look
- Wear your hair up regularly and need brightness visible on the underside and nape
- Prefer high-impact colour with clear, bright ends and minimal natural hair left between foils
It delivers more uniform blonde and less contrast than softer highlight techniques like babylights or standard full foils. If you prefer subtle, lived-in dimension, a lighter foil density or balayage may suit you better — your stylist will talk through the options during your consultation.
Maintenance and aftercare
Because more of your head is lightened, regrowth will be more noticeable at the parting and hairline. Most clients refresh every 6 to 12 weeks, sometimes alternating with partial foils or gloss appointments to maintain tone between major services.
At home:
- Use sulfate-free, colour-safe shampoo and rich conditioner to protect against dryness
- Apply hydrating or bond-repair masks weekly
- Always use heat protection when styling
- Book periodic toner or gloss treatments to keep your shade looking fresh as toner naturally fades
Heavily highlighted hair needs consistent care. Without proper hydration and strengthening products, it can become dry and brittle more quickly.
Consultation and realistic expectations
Before we begin, your stylist will discuss:
- Your natural colour, any previous chemical treatments (colour, bleach, perm, relaxer), and current hair condition
- How light we can safely lift your hair in one session
- The best toner to flatter your skin tone, eye colour, and personal style
- A strand test if you are a first-time client or making a big colour change, so we can check lift and processing time
This is a high-commitment service: your hair will look significantly blonder, and maintenance is regular. If you have very thick, long, or coarse hair, expect the appointment to take longer and potentially cost more. Your Paris Russell team in Worth will set clear, honest expectations so you leave with healthy, beautiful hair that fits your lifestyle.
